CEP Goals 2025–2026
We want every child to build their reading and language skills. Our teachers will use engaging lessons and strategies to support literacy for all grade levels. We use the SANDI assessment to track progress.
Your child’s safety—both physical and emotional—is our top priority. We’re training staff in positive behavior supports and de-escalation strategies to create a calm, caring environment.
We believe in inclusive classrooms where every student can succeed. We’re working to create more opportunities for students to learn in settings that meet their needs and encourage independence.
We’re helping older students gain real-world skills through community work experiences and travel training, so they’re ready for college, careers, and life.
Families are essential partners in education. We’re making it easier for parents to stay connected and informed through tools like the NYC Schools Account and regular communication.
Every day in school matters! We’re working closely with families to reduce absences and make sure students are present and ready to learn.
We want students to have a voice in their education. Older students will be supported to participate in their IEP meetings and share their goals for the future.
